KARMA & SOUL ENTERTAINMENT
Beating the odds at birth, Emily Grant was a survivor. Her early years were marked with a diagnosis: Submucous cleft palate, a condition which prevented Grant from speaking or hearing well. Despite her limitations, Grant enrolled in dance classes, where she learned to mimic her instructor’s movement. Dance quickly became an outlet in which she could express herself. Throughout her adolescent years, Grant underwent major corrective surgeries, continuing to persevere and immerse herself in the art of dance every day.
Grant's passion for dance and contagious positive energy led her to create an all female dance troupe in 2010 that would soon go on to perform at numerous nightclubs, charity events and festivals. Exceptionally well-rounded, Grant leveraged her versatile experience to enhance her artistic abilities, imagination and intuitive mind. In 2013 she turned that all female dance troupe into Karma & Soul, a full service entertainment company comprised of female and male dancers, models and unique specialty acts.
With over 150 performers on the roster, Karma & Soul Entertainment services nightlife and corporate industries all over the world. Grant's indomitable will to create a unique brand that focuses not only the physical, but the inner beauty that performers possess is achieved by hand-selecting talent that encompass what she calls “the whole package.” While she and her team continue to invent and implement new, exclusive concepts to create unforgettable event experiences, Grant prides herself on never becoming complacent and always evolving to exceed the industry standard. In addition to directing, Grant can still be seen dancing, with her most recent appearance on the Starz hit TV show Power.
